The purpose of The Lives Well Lived is to inspire people to experience the natural world around them by telling the incredible stories of real people and their outdoor experiences through micro documentaries.

We focus on stories that encourage people to get outside through activities like paddling, hiking, climbing, camping, fishing, cycling, hunting, bird watching, cliff jumping, and more. We are advocates for preserving our wild places and spending time in the natural world.

Stories about real people have been collected first hand by producers and through this website. They are then produced by teams of film makers from across the globe. Funding for these micro-documentaries is provided by our strategic partners. To become a strategic partner click here. Our distribution process is simple. After completing a micro-documentary it is submitted to a series of film festivals. Once this has been completed the micro-documentary is distributed online.
